Birthday Palooza 2014 Wrap Up

September 5, 2014

Whew! An entire week of giveaways is almost wrapped up and I have survived it even while being sick. It’s a 30 year old miracle. And lying in bed and reading your comments and love? You all are the bees knees. Thank you so much for celebrating with me and for making it such a wonderful week!

The last giveaway? If you have been following along with me over the years, I’m sure you have a clue as to what it could be. No birthday week could be complete without SPRINKLES CUPCAKES!! (Read that using your best Oprah voice).

Birthday Palooza 2014 Wrap Up |

Unfortunately, Sprinkles is only “sprinkled” around the USA (see what I did there!). So before commenting, be sure and view their locations right here to make sure you will be able to get to one of you win. If you haven’t had Sprinkles before, you can thank me later. And if you have, you know what I am talking about.

So leave a comment below telling me your BEST birthday memory and enter yourself to win a $15 gift card to Sprinkles. That’s four cupcakes, friends. And they are the size of your fist. And piled high with the most amazing amount of icing. With the most amazing cupcake tucked underneath. Don’t blame me for your sugar coma, but please tag me on Instagram with a picture of it. You have until 12:00 AM MST!

And a quick reminder that ALL winners from this week will be chosen by random and announced tomorrow, September 6th!

Big hugs again to all the love and good luck to each and every one of you!! #ThatsAWrap

How did I not know there is a Sprinkles in AZ?! I’ll use the excuse of just moving here only 10 months ago. 🙂 My favorite birthdays are the ones I spend with my family. This past year was fun because my kids woke me up with cute homemade cards.

Happy Birthday week! Enjoy your 30s. Mine are almost over. 🙁 my best bday memory was probably a surprise bday party when I was 18. We went to eat at Pizza Hut with my 6 of my friends and had the best time. It was video recorded for posterity! Lol.

Lots of good memories but my favorite was age 27. I had a 2 week old. And my husband slept in another room with her and did nighttime feedings so I could have a normal night of sleep.

I’ve NEVER had Sprinkles Cupcakes before. I do watch Cupcake wars though. I was so excited about turning 30, I couldn’t wait. Our 20’s are overrated. 🙂

When I think of birthday’s, I am automatically brought back to when I was a child. Birthday’s were always such a big celebration in our home. I loved it so much and I try to make our kids feel that their birthday is so very important too! I think my favorite birthday as a child was when I turned 13 years old. I received 13 gifts and every gift had 13 things inside. From 13 of my favorite candy bars to 13 hair scrunchies. That was such a fun birthday!! Planning that one for my kids when they reach that age!

My best birthday memory is a recent one… 2 years ago I graduated from college and walked across the stage one week before my birthday. To celebrate, I took a vacation in sunny San Diego, and came home to a surprise dinner with friends. It was the best birthday week ever!
