Last week we launched the 2019 Kara Layne & Co Blog Planner – the most valuable and comprehensive blog planner out there for content creators. The backstory about this planner started three years ago and it was something that I wanted for myself. After trying multiple tools and printable planners out there, I realized that nothing had it all. So I created it.
The 2019 Blog Planner is by far the biggest and best yet and I am giving you a peek into the entire thing. We filled it with 54 printable pages to keep you and your blog well organized from A to Z.
A big upgrade and tool that I knew we had to find ways to incorporate was Pinterest. I attribute most of the growth in my business to Pinterest and will be sharing more about this in the weeks to come. One way we incorporated this into the 2019 Kara Layne & Co. Blog Planner is by adding “Pinterest Interest” to each monthly view page. This guides you to know what type of content the Pinterest population is pinning and what content you should be sharing and when. Remember, the editorial content you create for your blog is evergreen content – it never goes away which also means that you need to be consistently recycling the sharing of it.
The monthly views also give you important content and seasonal deadlines to keep up with the demands of what people are searching for and when.
One of the exclusive additions this year was ‘The Content Strategist’. This was created to help you get those wheels turning to have an incredible year in 2019 and to create content that will truly help build your audience. The Content Strategist will guide you through each quarter and season of the year with ideas.
A fun addition was a custom notes page – of course featuring a grid design which is my favorite for notes, sketching out ideas and more.
One of the best features in the 2019 Kara Layne & Co. Blog Planner is the ‘Stats & Growth’ tracker worksheet for each month of the year. This is what you will fill out on the first of each month with the analytics, stats and numbers from the previous month. It walks you through Google analytics, social media including a new section just for Pinterest and of course, your subscriber and email list.
The Daily Editorial View worksheet stayed the same and is an amazing tool to ensure that each of your blog posts are thoroughly planned out and getting put to work to grow your numbers and audience. It walks you through a checklist to cover each time you publish a post as well as help you decide on keywords and tags to help with SEO optimization.
If you are a blogger and business owner you know how much there is to keep up with and handle on a constant basis. The Monthly Tasks worksheet will walk you through important administrative, marketing and technical tasks as well as guide you on housekeeping items for Pinterest.
Another exclusive offering as part of the blog planner is my ‘Seven Steps to a Killer Content Calendar’. This worksheet will walk you through the best ways to fill out your calendar for the year and to help create consistency. Remember, as a content creator, consistency breeds momentum!
A fun addition to this year’s blog planner are the custom blog planner tabs. We all like our planners to be as stylish as possible, right? Wink!
I will be sharing later this week how I put together my blog planner and what I am doing to prepare for the new year. You can purchase the 2019 Kara Layne & Co. Blog Planner right here and if you already have it and are getting it all prepped for 2019, I would love to hear from you and how you are liking it!
